this is very cool … good tutorials on lighting are always useful and this tutorial does a great job of explaining how to light a model for maximum effect. the article, (www.joeedelman.com) gives a detailed breakdown of how to use minimal studio lighting for maximum effect.
here’s a good diagram from the article. the trick to high key photography is the back light, pointed on to the rear wall which blows out the background and creates the high key effect. i’ve done a little of this style of photography before, in studio, and i’d really like to try it again.
